Areas of Practice:
Divorce and matrimonial finance (often with an international dimension and generally for high net worth clients); Children; Cohabitation.
Jeremy also has experience in, and a good understanding of, Property law, Commercial affairs, Civil Litigation, Wills, Probates and Trusts.
Background:
With a degree in Social Sciences from Kings College Cambridge, Jeremy spent most of the 1970s in Social Work. After obtaining a postgraduate qualification in Social Work from Exeter University he switched to Law.
Outside Activities:
Jeremy has a wide range of cultural and sporting interests. Among other things he loves books, language, cinema and taking his camera on holiday. He has been a bus driver and a small-holder; he is passionate about wicket-keeping and leining; he is involved in a number of communal activities and assists his wife in running a small but highly effective charity targeted at Eastern Europe.
